Wondering why you have to get verified in the first place? It’s because we offer a non-credit subscription model.

But developing a good credit score is a difficult and complicated process that isn’t easily accessible for many in this country. Why should you be punished for that? 

That’s why we have a non-credit verification process that bypasses the need for traditional credit checks and credit reports, by using our own model to measure financial behaviour. All the Deets

Verification is a requirement of subscribing with Rentoza. If you don’t complete verification, your order may be cancelled. The verification process can take anywhere from 24-48 hours. 

And don’t worry. It’s as easy as one, two, three. The verification requires three key elements: your identity, your address, and your bank details. 

To verify your identity, all you need to do is upload a photo of your valid South African ID to our system. Next up, you need to verify your address, which can be done with a bank statement, utility bills, invoices, or tax statements no older than 90 days. When verifying your address, remember to use your home address, even if your subscription is getting delivered somewhere else.

The last step in the verification process is adding your banking details. And it’s pretty simple. All you need to do is select your bank on our system and fill out the accompanying form, then you’re good to go!

Side note: You’re debited for your first month’s subscription amount before you start the verification process. If your verification fails, you’ll be fully refunded. 

Next Steps

After you’ve completed verification, you’ll receive an email with a link that you need to follow to complete the verification process. If your verification is successful, you’ll receive a subscription agreement that you’ll need to sign and send back to us. 

And that’s it! We’ll reach out to you to communicate your subscription delivery status. So all you have to do is sit back, relax, and wait for your order to arrive.
