Make sure you’ve filled in all your information correctly. You’ll also need to make your first month’s payment (if your verification fails, you’ll be fully refunded).
Complete Verification
Once you’re checked out, a link will be sent to your email to allow you to complete the verification process.

You’ll receive a subscription agreement, which you’ll need to sign and send back to us. This isn’t the end of the verification process – you’ll need to wait a little longer for that. We promise it’s worth it.

Rentoza’s Non-Credit Verifications
Our verification process is designed to make accessing products easier for all South Africans. We don’t ever look at your credit history – our financial behaviour model means that you can still get a subscription, even if your credit isn’t great.
Verification is a requirement of subscribing with Rentoza. If you don’t complete verification, your order may be cancelled
Verify Your Identity
Verifying your identity is as simple as taking a
photo of your valid South African ID, and uploading it to our system.
Verify Your Address
To give you more options, we allow a few different types of documents to be uploaded when verifying your address:
Bank statements no older than 90 days
Utility bills no older than 90 days
Invoices no older than 90 days
Tax statements no older than one year
When verifying your address, remember to use your home address, even if your subscription is getting delivered somewhere else.
Verify Your Bank
We need to verify your banking details. Just select your bank and fill out the form, and you’re good to go.
If you bank with Capitec – or if your bank isn’t listed in the menu – you’ll need to verify your details by manually uploading a bank statement no older than 90 days.
Rentoza Protect
What is Rentoza Protect?
We don’t just give you access to great tech and awesome appliances, we want to make sure you’re always covered. That’s why all subscriptions come bundled with Rentoza Protect – to keep you going when things go wrong.
Claims through Rentoza Protect include an administration fee, starting at R750.
Subscription Cover
This cover is designed to protect you against damage (like water damage), loss, or theft of your device. Subscription claims through Rentoza Protect include an administration fee, starting at R750
Warranty Cover
This is the same as the manufacturer's warranty you’d get if you bought a device. If there’s a defect or fault, we’ll take care of it for you.
Free Shipping
But REALLY Free Shipping?
That’s right, with Rentoza you get guaranteed free shipping on all subscriptions, no matter where in the country you are.
Delivery Times
Check the page for your product to find its estimated delivery time. Please note that these delivery times only apply once you’ve completed the verification process.
Tracking Your Delivery
Once your subscription has been dispatched to our couriers, you’ll receive a waybill that you can use to track your delivery.
Upgrade & Downgrade
Zero Cancellation Penalties
We don’t want you to feel tied down, so if you decide to upgrade or downgrade your subscription, you won’t be charged extra – just the fee of your new subscription.
How to Upgrade and Downgrade
Ready to move up in the world? Before you do, make sure you know what you want to switch to, then visit your account page and use the self-service section to submit your request.
Once you’ve submitted your request, you’ll also need to send us some photos of your current device:
- The original packaging
- The accessories supplied with the device
- The device switched on (taken from the front)
- The back of the device
Verification
In order to change your subscription, you’ll need to go through the verification process again.
